Permed and ready for the tiles, this Dracaena is here to be seen. Broad ornate foliage in a lavish green, edged with a yellow margin curl into a compact jungle-like display. This dracaena feels thicker and fuller than its cousins and is a guaranteed show-stopper.

The multi-stem variety of this Dracaena displays three individual plants at tiered heights, creating a more structured and sculptural display.

Dracaena fragrans Dorado Care & Info Guide

Light: Dracaena Dorado prefers low to bright indirect light. Direct sunlight will burn or bleach the leaves..

Water: Water when the soil starts to dry out at the top, water well and allow to drain thoroughly. Dracaena are relatively drought tolerant. An over-yellowing of the leaves is a sign of overwatering.

Temperature: Average household temperatures between 16-24°C but can cope with as low as 12°C for short periods.

Feed: Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season. View Plant Nutrition

Care tips: A light misting once or twice a week will prevent leaves from drying out, especially during the dry winter months. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust. Cut back by removing the top of the plant if it grows too tall. Don't use leaf shine on these plants. ‘Tipping’ - when the ends of the leaves dry up and turn brown is caused by the chemicals in tap water. If this occurs, consider leaving the water to distil for 24 hours.

Air Purifying: This plant filters airborne toxins and is part of our clean air plant collection.

Height and Growth Rate: Ultimate height 1.5-2m. Slow growing.

Toxicity: The sap is toxic to animals. It is not considered poisonous to humans but should not be ingested.

Origin: Tropical Africa, Asia and South America.
