Dracaena fragrans Ulises Care & Info Guide

Light: Dracaena Ulises will thrive in partial shade, but likes 2-3 hours of bright indirect sunlight per day. Keep away from direct strong light as this will scorch the leaves.

Water: Water moderately in the growing season March – August when the top of the soil has dried out, and less so in the winter months. Do not allow the plant to sit in sodden water as this will cause root rot.

Temperature: Average household temperatures between 16-24°C but can cope with as low as 12°C for short periods.

Feed: Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season. View Plant Nutrition

Care tips: Discoloration of the leaves indicates overwatering, whilst curling can indicate drought. A balanced and regular watering schedule will keep your plant looking its best.

Air Purifying: This plant filters airborne toxins and is part of our clean air plant collection.

Height and Growth Rate: Slow growing with an ultimate height of up to 10 feet. Maintain height by cutting the stem back to the desired height, where it will re-sprout.

Toxicity: The sap is toxic to animals. It is not considered poisonous to humans but should not be ingested.

Origin: Tropical Africa, Asia and South America.
