Peperomia dolabriformis - Prayer Pepper

SIZE: Pot Diameter x Total Height
10.5cm grow pot
Size Tip: Fits in a pot with an 11cm+ opening

It's rumoured Peter Piper also picked a patterned Peruvian Prayer Pepper plant. The Prayer Pepper houseplant has uniquely shaped long, slender leaves that look as though they've been folded in half - bringing the edges of their leaves together as if in prayer.

The purse shaped foliage of Peperomia dolabriformis is a zesty lime green and within each folded leaf is a dark green semi-translucent stripe which gives real visual interest to the patterned Peruvian Prayer Pepper plant.

Please note: During the summer months, this plant can ship in flower. The stems and leaves on this plant are very fragile and despite our best efforts, some may drop during transit.

Horty Hints

Keep it in shape! Left to its own devices this plant naturally twists into tangled, distorted shapes. If you want a more orderly style, train it into the shape you desire

How much is too much? This semi-succulent is sensitive to overwatering. Too wet and it will rot, too dry and it will die. When the soil has nearly dried out, give it a little drink.

Caught in the web! Peperomia can be susceptible to spider mites. If you notice a fine silky webbing on the soil, you have visitors. See our pests guide for help.
