Three ribbed, upright stems climb to almost a metre tall, each one lined with fine spines along every ridge. Giving that 'look but don't touch' air rather convincingly for a faux. Sometimes known as the blue torch cactus for the faint blue tinted skin in strong sun; ours keeps things in a deep, true cactus green.
The real thing can grow multi-metres in height. Ours arrives at a considerably more house-friendly height. All of the sculptural, architectural presence, none of the multi-decade wait. Stand it in a bright corner, beside a sofa or anywhere to bring the outside in. No sunburn, no root rot, no immediate danger to passing elbows.
Usage: Indoor use only.
Features: Three ribbed, spine-covered stems; naturalistic deep-green tone; upright, architectural growth habit; assembled in a weighted starter pot; zero watering, feeding, pruning or light required.
