Sometimes called angel wings, and it's not hard to see why. Where its white-leaved cousin goes for pale and papery, this Caladium takes a livelier route. Speckled, mottled leaves in acid green and yellow, and veined through with deeper green - dappled in sunlight and staying that way. Nine heart shaped leaves rise on slender stems from a central clump - angelic and aesthetic.
The real thing is notorious for vanishing entirely over winter, dying back to a dormant state and leaving you with a bare pot until spring. Yikes! Ours skips that disappearing act completely. All the wings, none of the winter disappearing act. Pop it into a planter with soil, pebbles or foam (whatever suits your vision) and you've got that speckled, sunlit foliage staying exactly as bright in January as it does in July.
Usage: Indoor use only.
Features: Nine heart-shaped leaves mottled green and yellow; slender individual stems for a natural spread; assembled in a weighted starter pot; zero watering, feeding, pruning or light required.
