A great indoor plant, whose gorgeous foliage will brighten up any corner. Aglaonema Stripes is an extremely beautiful variety of Aglaonema with its deep rich green leaves covered with narrow bands of sparkling silvery-white stripes.
Time for a spring clean! Use a damp cloth to remove any dust settling on your Aglaonema’s leaves to keep it in tip top condition.
Not feeling too fine! Yellow and brown leaf edges are an ugly result of overwatering. Using lukewarm water, keeping the soil moist but not soggy is the right way to go.
Feeding time! Apply a slow release fertilizer once a month during growing season to keep your Aglaonema Stripes going and growing strong!
Light
Aglaonema thrive in most light levels. The lighter the leaf colour, the more light required. Plain, dark green varieties prefer near-shade, whereas the lighter, variegated types need well-lit conditions. Avoid direct sunlight.
Watering
The Aglaonema Stripes' soil should be kept moist at all times. Do not allow it to dry-out. Make sure not to overwater as this may encourage root rot. Moderation is the key.
Does well in normal room temperatures: 18-24°C, however avoid draughts as these can cause undesirable temperature fluctuations.
Humidity
Chinese Evergreens can tolerate lower humidity than some other plants, yet it will still appreciate your efforts to improve surrounding humidity levels by misting regularly.
