A great looking Dracaena with lovely long and wide, deep green leaves with a central bright yellow-green band giving a neat striped appearance. Its leaf colour and variegation resembles that of Dracaena Cintho, however this is a smaller and more wide-spreading option.
Dracaena Burley is easy to care for, being a tough and resilient species that will tolerate light shade and cooler temperatures. Best displayed on a large table or in a tall, thin planter, where its spreading nature makes it ideal to fill a large space. It is also a great plant for removing toxins from the air.
Horty Hints
Beware the blotching! Yellow and brown blotches on the broad leaves? The plant has been too dry and hot. Refresh regularly and relocate somewhere more humid.
Feeling the chill! These warm climate plants are susceptible to temperatures of 12°C or lower. Leaves will curl and can dry-up and die.
Can't handle the Heat! These plants look like they like direct light, however too much sun will cause leaf streaking and eventually burning. Remove damage and remedy with some shade.
