New to the scene, Dracaena Riki is recognisable by its bright, long-arching green leaves, accentuated with flashes of yellow running through the centre, meeting in a crown atop its main stems. The striking foliage on this robust, low-maintenance plant make it perfect for the beginner, or those wanting a feel for the tranquil hotter climates.
Horty Hints
Cut and grow! if you cut back your Dracaena, put the cuttings in water in a warm position. Eventually new roots will grow and will eventually be able to be planted in soil.
Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust. Avoid using leaf shine on these plants.
Too dry for too long! Not watering often enough will cause the tips to turn brown. If you are watering often, the issue is the humidity. Time to start spraying.
