Horty Hints

Divide and conquer! Peperomia are one of the easier plants to propagate. Taking cuttings in the spring and putting them into a glass of water or wet compost will promote new root growth and eventually new plants.

And then there were many! When the stems become overly long, simply cut them back to the desired length with disinfected clippers. These cuttings can be placed in a glass of water or soil, eventually growing new plants.

How much is too much? Peperomia plants are sensitive to overwatering. Too wet and it will rot, too dry and it will die. When the soil has nearly dried out, give it a little drink.
