Peperomia angulata rocca scuro has creeping stems of dark green leaves striped in lighter green. The red stems add further interest and the plant looks fantastic left to creep along a shelf or trail from a hanging planter. It has a compact, spreading nature and is particularly suited to growing in low or fluorescent light, making it perfect for offices and shady spots. Radiator Plants are very much on trend and are very easy to look after.
Please note: the stems and leaves on this plant are very fragile and despite our best efforts some may be lost during transit.
Horty Hints
How much is too much? This semi-succulent is sensitive to overwatering. Too wet and it will rot, too dry and it will die. When the soil has nearly dried out, give it a little drink.
And then there were many! When the stems become overly long, simply cut them back to the desired length with disinfected clippers. These cuttings can be placed in a glass of water or soil, eventually growing new plants.
Brighter isn't always better! If the light is too bright, the deep green coloured foliage will fade. Move to a more shaded location to maintain the angulata's strong colour.
