Sansevieria trifasciata Black Coral is a stunning, almost gothic, example of Mother-in-Law's Tongue, with dark green, almost black colouring and wavy horizontal bands of white-grey-green.

Snake Plants are extremely sturdy and resilient houseplants. The worst thing you can do is over-water them, they cope much better with neglect!

Please note: some scarring may occur on the leaves.

Sansevieria trifasciata Black Coral - Snake Plant Care & Info Guide

Horty Hints

Happy families! You can propagate your Sansevieria by gently removing any Black Coral “pups” (smaller self-contained leaves), cutting directly below the root and placing them into a seperate grow pot.

Ensure your Black Coral has adequate drainage to allow any excess water to drain to avoid its roots becoming waterlogged and risking root rot.

Shabby but fabby! Scarring can occur on your Black Coral’s leaves, this is completely normal and adds to its stunning shabby-chic appearance.

Please note: images show how this plant may look at various stages of maturity. The size you choose may look different.
