The Asplenium antiquum Leslie is dressed for a leading role in an Elizabethan costume drama with its frilly ruff fronds. Slightly more hardy than other bird's nest ferns it will still appreciate a degree of humidity in the home.
Horty Hints
Twist and turn! Remembering to rotate this fern occasionally will help to create a full, even growth.
Don’t leave me high n' dry! Browning on the frond tips is caused from a lack of humidity in the air. Moving to a humid room or frequent misting will prevent this.
Remove excess dust with a damp cloth, however take care to avoid tender new fronds. Do not use leaf shine as the fronds are sensitive to chemicals.
