Peperomia verticillata is also known as Red Log Radiator Plant. It is an attractive flowering variety with beautiful red undersides and dark green leaves. As with all radiator plants they are ideal for growing in low or fluorescent light, making it perfect for offices and shady spots.
Radiator plants are very much on trend and are very easy to look after.
Please note: the stems and leaves on this plant are very fragile and despite our best efforts some may be lost during transit.
Horty Hints
Off to the chop shop! Pepromia Red Log can sometimes become a bit straggly. A quick trim of the lower outer leaves will encourage a fuller, bushier growth.
Brighter isn't always better! If the light is too bright, the deep green coloured foliage will fade. Move to a more shaded location to maintain the striking colour contrast.
How much is too much? This semi-succulent is sensitive to overwatering. Too wet and it will rot, too dry and it will die. When the soil has nearly dried out, give it a little drink.
