Swords of living silver, the Sansevieria Metallica is a rarer breed amongst its relatives. As the name suggests, powdery sage foliage contoured with silvery stripes and a fine rust trim triumph towards the light. A champion in anyone's plant collection.
Please note: some scarring may occur on the leaves.
Horty Hints
Drier than the Sahara Desert? Not a problem for the Metallica as they are drought tolerant! Allow the soil to dry out in between watering to avoid root rot.
Time for a trim? If your Metallica has experienced some additional scarring or damage to one or two leaves, you can slice the leaf back into its beautiful pointed shape using a sharp, sterilised blade.
Squeaky clean! Make sure to wipe the stems of your Metallica regularly to remove any dust and help maximise its air purifying powers.
