Few houseplants command a room quite like a Bird of Paradise. With broad, paddle-shaped leaves, tall architectural stems, and an unmistakably tropical presence, Strelitzia are the go to choice for making a bold statement indoors, whether that's a sun-drenched living room, bright hallway, or conservatory.

We stock both species: Strelitzia reginae, the more compact orange-flowering variety, and Strelitzia nicolai, the giant white-flowering type that can reach 3m indoors. We also offer highly realistic artificial options if you want the tropical look without the upkeep. Strelitzia prefer bright indirect light and temperatures above 13°C and are toxic to pets.
